2002 Dodge Ram Pickup

With this sudden burst in the Ram's popularity, aftermarket accessory engineers have been working hard designing products to enhance the performance of these trucks. For several years CGS Motorsports, in Pomona, California, has been making high-performance intake and exhaust kits for a variety of cars and trucks and has recently launched its latest air intake system for '02 Dodge Ram trucks with 5.9L engines.

This easy-to-install kit is a direct replacement of the factory components, making it a true bolt-on application that requires no cutting or drilling. In less than two hours, you can gain 8 to 14 horses and increase your torque by 8 percent at the rear wheels.

The CGS Motorsports High Performance Air Intake System comes with a reusable air filter, a high-flow intake tube, a new air hat, and all the necessary brackets clamps and hardware to make the installation run smoothly. To ensure that your new air intake system lasts a long time, the 18-gauge steel inlet tube, as well as the rest of the steel parts, are powdercoated silver, then clear, for extra rust protection.

To demonstrate how easy this kit is installed, Casey Scranton of CGS Motorsports performed the install of the kit in no time at all.
